Integrating Accessories
As described below, you can attach various accessories* to your
DTX700 for an even more enjoyable playing experience.
(*: Sold separately)
If you own an HH65 Hi-hat Controller (sold separately), you
can connect it to your DTX700’s [

HH-KICK] trigger input
jack in order to play kick drum sounds. To do so, proceed as fol-
lows.

Turn off your DTX700.
The HH65 Hi-hat Controller must be connected with the
drum trigger module turned off.

Insert one end of the cable that came with
your HH65 into the hi-hat controller’s output
jack.

Insert the other end of the cable into you
DTX700’s [

HH-KICK] trigger input jack.

Turn on your DTX700.

Select a kit and start to play.
The following describes how to expand your DTX700 with a
PCY135 Cymbal Pad (sold separately).

Mount your PCY135 Cymbal Pad on a cymbal
holder (sold separately) or the like and set it
up as part of your drum set.

Use the cable that came with your PCY135
Cymbal Pad to connect it to your DTX700. For
demonstration purposes, we will use jack

Turn on your DTX700.

Hit the newly-added cymbal pad.

Select the most suitable pad type.

Press the [MENU] button.

Turn the dial to select “Trigger”, and then press the
dial.

Turn the dial to select “Pad”, and then press the dial.

Turn the dial to move the cursor to the “PadType” row
of the displayed list.

Press the dial to zoom in on the pad type. Turn the dial
to select “PCY135”, and then press the dial once
again.
