If the dust cup is mounted
incorrectly, dust or dirt will not
collect in the cup and allow the
dust to come into direct contact
with the element and thus
require the element be replaced
prematurely.

Remove and clean out the dust cup once a week under
normal conditions or daily in extreme conditions.

the rear of the cup in the upward position with horizon-

Radiator
Make it a rule to check the coolant level before every
operation.
WARNING
To avoid personal injury:
8
DO NOT stop the engine
suddenly, stop it after about 5
minutes of unloaded idling.
8
Work only after letting the
engine and radiator cool off
completely (more than 30
minutes after it has been
stopped).
8
DO NOT remove the radiator cap
while coolant is hot. When cool,
rotate cap slowly to the first
stop to allow excess pressure
to escape.
Then remove cap completely.
If overheating should occur,
steam gushes out from the
radiator or reserve tank; Allow
the engine to cool before
attempting to open the cap.
Severe burns could result.
Checking coolant level, adding coolant
1. Remove the radiator cap after the engine has
completely cooled, and check to see that coolant
reaches the supply port.
