Adjusting the level of echo effect

You can adjust the level of echo effect applied to the sound
input from the microphone(s).

Control range: MIN, 1–9, MAX

On the front panel:
Press the ECHO 

button once or more to increase the

level.
Press the ECHO 

button once or more to decrease the

level.

On the remote control transmitter:

Press the ECHO/KEY selector button once or more so
that “ECHO” appears on the display.

2

Press the LEVEL + button to increase the level.
Press the LEVEL – button to decrease the level.

Notes

This adjustment can be made only when a Karaoke mode
(KARAOKE L R, KARAOKE L, KARAOKE R or
KARAOKE) is selected.

Echo effect is available even when a Karaoke mode is not
selected.

Adjusting key level of the source
currently played back

The key level adjustment can be made only when the Video
CD player is selected as the source. 

Control range: –6 to 6

On the front panel:
Press the 

button once or more to increase the level.

Press the 

button once or more to decrease the level.

On the remote control transmitter:

Press the ECHO/KEY selector button once or more so
that “KEY” appears on the display.

2

Press the LEVEL + button to increase the level.
Press the LEVEL – button to decrease the level.

Notes

This adjustment can be made only when the 
KARAOKE L R, KARAOKE L or KARAOKE R mode is
selected.

You can change the key level even while playing back a
still picture (on a Video CD) though it is not effective until
the playback of still picture end

To reset the key level to

Press the PROGRAM button or the USER button (except
when storing a new user program) on the front panel.

Turn the built-in equalizer to “flat”. (See page 30 for
