Drive track adjustment
WARNING

●
Be sure to have a Yamaha dealer make this
adjustment.
●
Support the snowmobile securely on a suitable
stand before working underneath the snowmo-
bile.
●
Operate the engine in a well-ventilated area.

1. Lift the rear of the snowmobile onto a suitable stand
to raise the drive track off the ground.
2. Loosen the rear axle nut

It is not necessary to remove the cotter pin

3. Start the engine and rotate the drive track one or two
turns. Stop the engine.
4. Check the drive track alignment with the slide
runners

. If the alignment is incorrect, align the
drive track by turning the left and right adjusters.
