SCENE [1] – [5], [RECALL] keys
Used to recall previously stored Scenes in the unit. When
pressing one of the [1] – [5] keys, the key flashes for
about 10 seconds. (If a Scene corresponding to the key is
not stored, the key doesn’t flash.) When pressing the
[RECALL] key while one of the [1] – [5] keys are flashing,
the Scene is recalled, and the key is lit continuously. Use
the MMP1 Editor to store Scenes.
NOTE
You can set the [1] key as the all mute key. For details, refer to the
MMP1 Operation Manual.

SAMPLE RATE indicators
Indicate the current sample rate being used by the unit.
The indicator which synchronizes with the word clock
source lights up. If the unit cannot synchronize with the
word clock source, one of these indicators flashes slowly.

CLOCK indicators
Indicate a word clock source. When the word clock
source is not connected to the unit or the word clock
source has any problems, one of these indicators flashes
slowly.

SYNC indicators
Indicate the sync status between the Dante network and
the unit.

SYSTEM indicators
Indicate the operating status of the unit.

[BACKUP] power switch and indicator
Turns the DC power of the unit to on (
O
) or sets it to
standby (
N
). When the DC power unit is turned on, the
indicator lights up.
NOTICE
Even when the power switch is in the standby position (
N
), a
small amount of current is flowing through the unit. When
you are not using the unit for a long time, make sure to
disconnect the power supply from the [BACKUP DC INPUT]
connector.
NOTE
Setting the unit to on and standby in rapid succession can cause
it to malfunction. After setting the unit to standby, wait for at least
6 seconds before turning it on again.

The unit is working as the clock
master on the Dante network.
Green (off)
Orange (lit continuously)
Synchronization with the Dante
network is in progress.
Orange (flashing slowly)
In communication with the secondary
line of a redundant network.
Orange (flashing twice)
An error has occurred on the
secondary line of a redundant
network.
Green (lit continuously)
Red (off)
The unit is working properly.
Green (flashing slowly)
The firmware is being updated.
Red (lit continuously)
An error has occurred in the memory
of the unit. If the issue is still not
solved even when following the
“Restoring factory settings”
instructions on page 15, please
contact your Yamaha dealer.
Red (flashing slowly)
An error has occurred in the Dante
module of the unit.
Red (flashing rapidly)
The backup battery voltage is
reduced. Please contact your
Yamaha dealer and have qualified
Yamaha service personnel replace
the backup battery.
