Execute the diagnostic mode (code No. d:01)
Throttle fully closed: 12 – 22 is displayed.
Display is out of range

Replace the throttle
position sensor.

Check for looseness and whether it is not installed
by force.
Check that it is installed in the specified position.

Defective speed sensor
Execute the diagnostic mode (code No. d:01)
Throttle fully closed: 12 – 22 is displayed.

Replace the throttle
position sensor.

Connections
• Throttle switch coupler
• Wire harness ECU coupler
Check the couplers for any pins that may have
pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the couplers.
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect the
coupler securely.

Open or short circuit in wire harness.
Repair or replace if there is an open or short circuit.
Between the throttle switch coupler and ECU cou-
pler.

Execute the diagnostic mode (code No.d:24).
Throttle closed: Turn the throttle switch OFF.
Throttle opened: Turn the throttle switch ON.
