INSTALLING THE ENGINE
1. Install:

• engine stay

• bolt (engine stay)

• down tube (right)

• bolt (down tube)

• bolt (rear)

• nut (front-upper)

• engine bracket

• bolt (engine bracket)

• bolt (front-lower)

NOTE:

Do not fully tighten the bolts.

16 Nm (1.6 m · kg)

45 Nm (4.5 m · kg)

70 Nm (7.0 m · kg)

42 Nm (4.2 m · kg)

16 Nm (1.6 m · kg)

42 Nm (4.2 m · kg)

2. Install:

• shift pedal link

NOTE:

• Align the punch mark

in the shift shaft with

the slot

in the shift pedal link.

• Align the bottom edge of the shift pedal with

the mark on the frame-to-swingarm bracket.
