Water separator
1)
Check the water separator to see if
there is any water in this separator.
This water separator retains any
water entering through the fuel tank
breather pipe if the Vehicle is cap-
sized.
Normally this water separator is
empty. (No water)
2)
If water remains in this water separa-
tor, drain it by removing the drain
screw.
Do not forget to reinstall the drain
screw securely.

Bilge
Excessive water in the engine compart-
ment bilge can splash into the carburetor
and engine. This could cause engine dam-
age. If there is any moisture in the bilge,
raise the bow about 30 cm (12 in.) and
remove the hull drain plugs. After the
water has drained, wipe the bilge with dry
rags. Reinstall the drain plugs.
c
C
Tighten two hull drain plugs securely
before launching the Water Vehicle.
Clean any foreign material, such as dirt or
sand, from the threads before installing
the drain plugs.
w
Always properly dispose of gasoline
(petrol) soaked rags. They can sponta-
neously ignite.
