BASIC OPERATION
Once you have finished all cable connections (
P. 11 to 15) and remote control preparation (
P. 7), follow the
procedure below to start basic playback operation.

Press
STANDBY/ON
.
This system is turned on and the power indicator
lights up. To set the system to standby mode, press
STANDBY/ON
again.

This system has the auto-sleep function, which will
automatically switch the system to standby mode if the
system is left turned on for 24 hours without any operation
being performed.

Press one of the input buttons to select an
input source.
For example, if a DVD player is connected to the
INPUT 1 jack of the subwoofer/system control, press
INPUT 1
to select the DVD player.

You can also switch the input source by pressing INPUT on
the center system repeatedly. The input source changes as
follows:

Start playback on the selected external
component.
For information on the external component, refer to
the manual for the product.

Press

to adjust the volume
level.

To turn off the volume temporarily, press
MUTE
. While the
mute function is activated, the MUTE indicator flashes. To
resume the volume, press
MUTE
again.
