• Does the starting circuit cut-off relay have
continuity between red and black?

Replace the main
switch.
6. Engine stop switch
Replace the right
handlebar switch.
7. Neutral switch
Replace the neutral
switch.
8. Sidestand switch
Replace the
sidestand switch.
• Disconnect the starter relay connector.
• Connect the Pocket tester (
Ω
x 1) and the
battery (12V) to the starter relay connector,
as shown.
Battery positive terminal --> blue/black

Battery negative terminal --> green/yellow

Check the main switch for continuity.
Refer to “CHECKING THE SWITCHES”.

Is the main switch OK?
• Check the engine stop switch for
continuity.

• Is the engine stop switch OK?

Check the neutral switch for continuity.

Is the neutral switch OK?
• Check the sidestand switch for continuity.

• Is the sidestand switch OK?
• Check the clutch switch for continuity.

• Is the clutch switch OK?
