9.2 DRAINING SYSTEMS
The Yamarin 6230 has a rainwater draining system, which means that rainwater is drained
from the undecked part of the boat when the boat is on the water. The system also functions
when the boat is out of water, provided that the bow is higher than the stern and that the
rainwater drain valve is open.
There is a bilge pump in the boat's fuel tank compartment, which automatically drains the bilge
(as long as the battery is charged). The pump cannot drain the bilge completely, which means
that there is always some water in the bilge. The bilge pump operates although the main
switch is in OFF position.
At the back of the floor there is a bushing and a valve to which a drainpipe has been attached
leading through the transom outside the boat. The drainpipe can be closed with a valve (see
fig. 4).
