being carried out. The use of power tools for purposes other than those for which the
devices are intended can generate dangers.
Support
Have the power tool checked by a qualified repairer and use only original spare parts,
thus ensuring the safety of the power tool.
Prepare a periodic maintenance program for the appliance. When cleaning the tool, be
careful not to disassemble any part of it to avoid incorrectly positioning or crushing the
internal wires or incorrectly mounting the return springs of the safety protection. Some
cleaners such as gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, ammonia, etc. can damage plastic
parts.
For tool maintenance, use only original parts. Follow the instructions in the Maintenance
section of this manual. The use of unauthorized components or failure to follow
maintenance instructions can create the risk of electric shock or injury.
CAUTION:
For the user's safety, read the instructions before using the power tool.
A) Wear protective goggles.
B) Keep your hands out of the path of the cutting tools.
C) Do not use tools without the guards in place.
D) Do not perform any freehand operation.
E) Never go near cutting tools.
F) Turn off the device and wait for the cutting tools to stop before moving the workpiece
and changing the cutting settings.
G) Remove the power supply (or disconnect the appliance) before changing the cutting
tools or carrying out maintenance.
The power tool must be checked before each use; this manual must be read carefully
and kept in a safe place. While being warned of all possible risks associated with the use
of power tools, the operator must have read and understood this manual and use the
device with caution and common sense. Following the instructions here will significantly
reduce the risk of electric shock or injury.
Use only qualified repairers for maintenance work on the power tool and contact only
qualified electricians to repair damaged cables.
DO NOT remove the grounding pole from the power tool or the extension cable.
Extension cables
Any appli
ance marked with the words “Grounding Required” MUST be connected to a
three-wire extension cable only. Only appliances with double insulation can be
connected to two-wire cables.
If extension cables are used, the device suffers a power reduction due to the voltage
drop caused by the length of the cable. This can be partially compensated for by
choosing extension cables with a lower gauge wire.
Before use, check that no extension cables are damaged.
Avoid the use of sharp objects.
Do not place the cable where it could be exposed to passages above it.
