AUTOMA Pick Placements

Jim-Bot has a particular way of placing picks.

- Jim-Bot will never place a pick of your

genre

color on the board; if your color comes up on the

Automa action card it’s considered a “miss”.

- Jim-Bot can only take a pick if it is available in the

supply

; if the pick color on the Automa action is

  not in the

supply

 it’s considered a “miss.”

- Jim-Bot places picks in each

fret

based on pick color and available locations.

- The list below has numbers 1-6 beside the

genre

picks. To determine where Jim-Bot places each

  color, remove your

genre

color from the list and follow an ascending order.

(Example: If your

genre

color is grey, Jim-Bot will attempt to put white picks into the

first fret and green picks into the fifth fret.)

- When Jim-Bot places a pick in the desired

fret

, it will always be in the lowest numbered space.

- If Jim-Bot attempts to place a pick and the desired

fret

is full, place the pick in the first available

  space on the fretboard.

(Refer to the numbered Automa spaces diagram.)

- Jim-Bot uses pick powers in a particular way as well. Refer to the chart below for each color.

White

 - Jim-Bot takes the next (non-player colored) pick from the

supply

 and places it in the

desired space. Jim-Bot will activate this pick’s ability if possible.

Red

 - Jim-Bot finds the first space containing a pick of your

genre

color and places it back in

the

bag

. Jim-bot always places red picks but declines to remove any other

genre

 but yours.

Blue

 - Jim-Bot will first attempt to move player picks as far apart as possible. If no player

picks are found, Jim-Bot will attempt to move picks to the desired

frets

.

Grey

 -

Jim-Bot finds the first space containing a pick of your

genre

color and flips it face down. If any

other picks of your color are on the same

fret

, Jim-Bot moves this pick to the first available space.

Purple

 - Jim-Bot finds the first available face down pick and plucks it, flipping it over to

reveal its

genre

color. Jim-Bot will activate this pick’s ability if possible.

Wylde

 - Jim-Bot finds the first space containing a pick of your

genre

 color and replaces it. If

there are no picks of your color, Jim-Bot places this in the first available space.

Face Down

Jim-Bot finds the first space containing a pick of your

 genre

color and places this in an

adjacent space, removing your pick from the board. Otherwise Jim-Bot places this in the first available space.

Green

 - Jim-Bot places this in the first available

fret

with the most picks of your

genre

 color.

If there are no player picks showing or spaces avalable it is placed in Jim-Bot’s desired fret.
