FAILURE INDICATOR LAMP FLASHING PATTERN
This section provides examples that demonstrate how the failure indicator flashes in a pattern specific to
the DTC that occurs.
If an accelerator sensor failure is detected at power-on time, the failure indicator flashes in a pattern of 5
(five equal flashes) as shown in the fist example; if an EGR valve failure is detected at power-on time, it
flashes in a pattern of 13 (i.e., one long flash followed by 3 short flashes) as shown in the second example.
When two or more failures occur at the same time, the failure indicator indicates all the failures one by one
in the ascending order of the number of flashes.
Also, the failure indicator is always lit for 2 [s] after power-on, whether or not any failure exists.
