Method and Procedure of Failure Diagnosis
Work Description
1. Check of the accelerator sensor:
• For details, see[Accelerator sensor] (P.1-12).
2. Check of the output voltage (not fit with sensor):
• Remove the harness from the accelerator sensor.At this time, keep the E-ECU connector being
connected to E-ECU.
• Turn the key switch on to turn on the E-ECU power.
• Measure the voltage between the harness side accelerator sensor connector terminals E38 and GND
using a circuit tester.
3. Check of harness continuity:
• Remove the harness from the accelerator sensor and E-ECU.
• Check the harness continuity using a circuit tester.
