Using as a crane
Switch the overload warning device on using the keypad when using as a crane.
Keep an eye on the overload warning indicator.
When the warning signal (continuous buzzing noise) sounds, you must:
Immediately set down the load
Reduce the reach and/or
Reduce the load
Suspension

Load hook is fitted in place of bucket etc.
•
Hook with safety net is screwed onto the bucket rod (in the case of quick-
mounting buckets with ejectors, remove the hook).
A suitable and appropriately sized load-bearing medium must be employed
for picking up the material to be lifted.

moving loads
Observe the safety instructions. See chapter 3.20 “Hoisting operation”.
Checking the
overload
warning
device
The proper working condition of the overload warning device must always be
checked before using the machine for crane operations.
Switch the overload warning device on using the keypad when using as a crane.
Move the boom fully upwards (extend boom cylinder).

Load warning indicator rises to the red range.

An acoustic warning signal (continuous noise) sounds.

Overload warning device is working.

Attach loads securely so that they cannot slip or fall out of
place.

Always wear personal protective equipment when working
with load-bearing equipment.
