Handle Objects
To prevent serious personal injury or death:
●
The loader is not equipped with any
mechanism which prevents objects such as
round bales, posts, logs, etc. from curling
down onto the operator.
●
Do not carry large objects that can fall out of
the loader bucket into the operator station.
●
Do not under any circumstances lift the
loader higher than necessary to clear the
ground.
●
Be careful when handling large or heavy
objects, as there is a danger of the tractor
rolling over or upending. The object can also
fall off or slide down along the boom and hit
the operator.
●
When performing any of the operations
described above:
• always move and turn the tractor at slow
speeds
• avoid rough and uneven terrain as much as
possible
• always keep the bucket as low as possible
but just high enough to clear the ground
during travel
• make the distance a load needs to be
transported as short as possible
• carry the load as low as the road or terrain
permits
• if there is no anti-rollback mechanism on the
tractor, do not attempt to lift large or heavy
objects
• add an amount of rear ballast that is
required to compensate for the load
