CONTROL SYSTEM
WARRANTY STATEMENT
YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS
AND OBLIGATIONS:
The California Air Resources Board
(CARB), the United States Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) and YANMAR
POWER TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.
(YANMAR) is pleased to explain emission
control system warranty on your 2023,
2024 or 2025 model year marine
compression-ignition (CI) engine.
New marine CI engines must be designed,
built and equipped to meet stringent
anti-smog standards. In the remaining forty
nine (49) states, new marine CI engines
must be designed, built and equipped to
meet the United States EPA emissions
standards. YANMAR must warrant the
emission control system on your marine CI
engine for the periods of time listed below
provided there has been no abuse, neglect
or improper maintenance of your engine.
Your emission control system may include
parts such as the fuel injection system, the
air induction system and other
emission-related assemblies.
Where a warrantable condition exists,
YANMAR will repair your marine CI engine
at no cost to you including diagnosis, parts
and labor.
YANMAR’s warranty coverage:
The 2023, 2024 or 2025 model year
marine CI engines are covered by the
warranty period indicated in a table below.
If any emission-related part on your marine
CI engine is found to be defective during
the applicable warranty period, the part will
be repaired or replaced by YANMAR.
When a measurement device of use hours
is not equipped, warranties apply a period
of use months.
This warranty is transferable to each
subsequent purchaser for the duration of
the warranty period.
YANMAR recommends that repair or
replacement of any warranted parts be
performed at an authorized YANMAR
dealer or distributor.
