5. ELECTRIC SYSTEM
5-4-2 Engine Stop
Turn the starter switch to OFF.
↓
The flow of electric current from the
starter switch is cut off. Therefore, the
excitation of the "HOLD" coil is stopped,
the control lever of the fuel injection pump
is returned to the stop position and the
fuel supply to the fuel injection pump is cut
off. Then, the engine stops.
• When the starter switch is turned to OFF, the electric current
flowing from the starter switch terminal
AC
through the fuse (10A) to
the engine stop solenoid terminal

is cut off, to stop exciting the
"HOLD" coil.
