Getting started
Two steps and Yanzi
IoT Gateway 2/Yanzi
IoT Access Point 2
is connected
1. Start
Plug in the included power adapter and
connect the Ethernet cable to your existing
Internet connection OR
Plug in PoE compliant Ethernet connection.
Push the UPS switch on the left side backwards
to enable the battery backup feature.
2. Connect
Register Yanzi IoT Gateway 2 or Yanzi IoT
Access Point 2 using the QR code on the
back side.
You are now ready to use Yanzi IoT
Gateway 2 and Yanzi IoT Access Point 2 to
connect with other products from the Yanzi
family.

Network Connectivity
●
Gateway and Access Points requires a DHCP server on the network
to get IP addresses assigned.
●
The Gateway communicates with the Access Points using UPnP
and TLS over Ethernet.
●
Gateways and Access Points must sit on the same layer 2
broadcast and IP multi-cast domain.
●
Internet connection only requires outgoing port 443 and 4445. No
inwards connection required. Gateway connects automatically to
the Yanzi server.
