TO USE THE LINE TRIMMER HEAD

 

Lock the shaft by Inserting the 5mm hex 

key through the hole and into the blade 

mounting boss as shown. 

NOTE: 

The flange nut and spindle have left hand 

threads. 

 

 

 

 

Remove the flange nut using the Spark 

plug spanner (J) by turning it in a clockwise 

direction.

 

Remove the top flange. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Mount the line trimmer head onto the 

spindle. 

 

 

 

 

 

Tighten the line trimmer head in  

an anti-clockwise direction. 

 

 

 

 

On the underside of the guard, remove the 

protective cover on the line cutting blade. 

 

Remove the hex key to unlock the shaft. 

 

Store the top flange and flange nut in a 

safe place in case they are needed for 

later use.
