ASSEMBLY

 

Pole Assembly

:

 

Plug the upper section into the lower section.

 

Pull the locking collar down over the connection and turn 

clockwise to secure the two pieces together.  

 

NOTE: 

Note the polarity markings of the contacts.

 

 

ATTACHING THE SHOULDER STRAP

 

 

Engage

 

the

 

strap closure 

. Suspend

 

the

 

shoulder

 

strap

 

in

 

the

 

attachment 

 

ADJUSTING LENGTH OF TELESCOPIC POLE

 

Remove the battery pack from the pole saw.

 

• 

Release the locking collar of the telescopic pole.

 

• 

Pull the telescopic pole apart until the required working 
height is obtained.

 

• 

Fully retighten the locking collar. 

 

 

Note: Extend the pole only to the length required to reach 

the limb to be cut. Do not extend the handle above waist 

height.

 

NOTE: 

Adjust hand placement on the shaft of the pole saw 

to keep proper balance. 

 

Do not attempt  to use  pole saw at a length which does not 

allow you to maintain proper footing and balance at all times.

: If any parts are damaged or missing do not  

operate this product until the parts are replaced. Failure to

INSTALLING/REPLACING THE GUIDE BAR AND CHAIN

 

DANGER: 

Never start the motor before installing the guide 

bar, chain, chain cover and chain cover lock knob. Without all 
these parts in place, the clutch can fly off or explode,          
exposing the user to possible serious injury.  

 

WARNING: 

To avoid serious personal injury, read and       

understand all the safety instructions provided. 

 

WARNING: 

Before performing any maintenance, make sure 

the battery pack has been removed, failure to heed this    
warning could result in serious personal injury. 

 

CAUTION: 

Always wear gloves when handling the bar and 

chain; these components are sharp and may contain burrs.

 

WARNING: 

Never touch or adjust the chain while the motor 

is running. The saw chain is very sharp; always wear        
protective gloves when performing maintenance to the chain 
to avoid possible serious lacerations. 

 

NOTE: 

When replacing the guide bar and chain, use only  

identical replacement parts.
