- to install the generator at the support and to fasten its front side with the bolt with washer, the
back side with the nut with washer, do not tighten;
- to install the plate and to fasten at the engine with the nut with washer, at the generator - with
the bolt and nut with washer, do not tighten;
- to tighten the nut of the fastening bolt of the back generator arm at the support, to screw the
threaded liner in the front hole of the support to the hard stop into the front generator arm and to lock
the threaded liner with the nut, to tighten the bolt of the fastening of the front generator arm;
- to tighten the nuts of the plate fastening at the engine and generator. Before tightening of the
nut of the bolt of the plate fastening at the generator it is necessary to check the joining of the plate
with the generator eye.
Between the plate and generator eye clearance no more than 0.5 mm is allowed which can be
eliminated with the joining of the plate with the eye while tightening the nut. Clearance more than 0.5
mm can be eliminated installing the flat washers between the plate and the generator eye;
- to adjust relative position of the grooves of the generator pulley as to the pulley of the
compressor and generator drive moving the support with the generator within the length of the
support holes for the fastening pins. Relative displacement of the shafts of the pulley grooves is
permitted no more than 0.8 mm at the length 400 mm. After the adjustment one should tighten the
nuts of the fastening of the support beginning with the nut close to the front generator arm;
- to adjust the belt tension.
5.16 Installation of the starter
5.16.1 Fastening bolts of the starter supports should be tightened with the moment of force from
45 to 62 Nwm (from 4.5 to 6.2 kfg m).
5.16.2 Starter should be installed in the flywheel housing hole till thehard stop with the flange in
the housing at that adjusting pin pressed into the hole of the cylinder block should go into the groove at
the starter body.
5.16.3 Bolts of the fastening clamp of the starter should be tightened with the moment of force
from 70 to 90 Nwm (from 7.0 to 9.0 kfg m).
5.17 Installation of the single-disk clutch
5.17.1 Before installation of the single-disk clutch into the cavity of the crankshaft behind the
primary shaft bearing transmission gear box should be filled with the sealant Litol-24.
5.17.2 Friction surfaces of the flywheel and clutch pressure disk should be clean off the grease
using clean benzine.
5.17.3 Surfaces of the hub splines of the driven disk should be lubricated with the thin layer of
the sealant SHRUS-
