Procedure to Make a 24-VDC Power Cable
The enclosed power connector is a removable plug. Use twisted-pair wires with a wire size of
AWG24 to AWG20 (0.2 mm
2
to 0.51 mm
2
) to make a 24-V power cable according to the fol-
lowing procedure.
Refer to the following section for the power connector pin numbers and functions.
3.5.4 Power Connector Specifications

Strip the wires for a length of 7 to 8 mm from the end to expose the conductors.
2.
Use the handle included with the power plug or a screwdriver to loosen the power plug
clamp, and insert the conductors all the way to the back of the plug.
Using the Handle
Hook the tip of the handle into a square hole on the plug and press down on the handle so that the
projection on the handle is pressed into the hole shown in the diagram to loosen the clamp.
Using a Screwdriver
Press the tip of the screwdriver into the hole shown in the figure to release the clamp.

Release the handle or remove the screwdriver. The conductor will be clamped in place.
