3.1
General Information
The MH-Series SIGMA-5 Positioner drive assembly consist of an AC
servo motor and gear reducer with an integral output bearing mounted in a
cast iron housing.Weld ground brushes and position switches are included
as standard features. Drive assembly provides programmable motion
about the central axis, and endless rotation can be purchased as an
option. Holes in the faceplate provide for mounting MotoMount drive
components or parts fixtures in stand-alone (cantilevered) applications.

MH-Series SIGMA-5 Positioner Assembly – Type I
The design of the four available drive assemblies is very similar; size is
the primary difference. The flexibility of the Type I drive assembly allows
for any mounting orientation including vertical (typical), horizontal, or
other.
