The moment of inertia of the servomotor with holding brake is expressed using the following equation.

(rotor moment of inertia) + (brake moment inertia)

(3) Derating Rate for Servomotor With Oil Seal
For a motor with oil seal, use the following derating rate because of the higher friction torque.
