Slide the power switch to stop towards “OFF” (III) to turn off the product. This will turn off the laser spot projection and lock out the
movement of the laser pointer.
Laser pointer self-levelling
Caution! Use the laser pointer self-levelling feature only when the tripod threaded nut is vertically downward. Any other orientation
will be indicated by the product as a self-levelling range overrun.
Turning on the product starts the laser pointer self-levelling. If the product is oriented at an angle within the laser pointer self-level-
ling range, the projected laser spots are levelled automatically. The laser pointer self-levelling cannot be disabled.
Mounting the product on a tripod
The product base has threaded holes for mounting on a tripod (not included) or the base (included with the product), or in the grip
(included with the product).
If you want to use the grip included with the product, screw its threaded stud to stop into the respective threaded nut of the product.
The product’s mount features a lockable ball-and-socket joint. The ball-and-socket joint facilitates orienting and positioning the
product correctly. The ball-and-socket joint is secured in position by tightening the knob in its base.
If you want to use the base included with the product, screw its threaded stud into the larger threaded nut at the product’s bottom.
The base provides precise panning (rotation on the horizontal plane) of the mounted product. The scale shows the angle of
rotation.
The base facilitates lifting and lowering the product by operating the lifting dials at the back of the base.
The back of the base features strong magnets to facilitate attachment to any surface made of a ferromagnetic material. The top of
the base back features a spirit level to control the level.
Consult the tripod operating instructions before mounting the product.
Use of the product
When using the product outdoors or in strong light, e.g. direct sunlight, the range of laser beam projection and the visibility of laser
beams could be reduced.
An example of the use of the product is shown in (IV).
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Having fi nished your work with the product, wipe it clean with a soft and slightly damp cloth. Next, wipe dry with a soft cloth or
leave to dry. Do not immerse the product in water. Do not clean with solvents, corrosive chemicals, alcohol, gasoline or abrasive
products (e.g. scouring cream). Store the product in a dry, well-ventilated indoor room, away from sunlight. The storage location
should not be accessible to children or anyone not authorized to operate the product. Other storage conditions should be as the
operating conditions. Remove the batteries before prolonged storage.
