ATTENTION! To power the pneumatic tool you should use only compressed air. It is forbidden to use any other gas for
that purpose, especially fl ammable gases.
Connecting the tool to pneumatic system
The fi gure shows the recommended connection of tool to the pneumatic system. Presented method will ensure the most effi cient
use of tool, and also it will extend the service life of the tool.
Let a few drops of oil for pneumatic tools SAE viscosity 10 to the air intake (II).
Tool performance can be adjusted by varying the supply air pressure of the tool. It is forbidden to excess the maximum pressure,
which is specifi ed in the table with technical data.
Connect the tool to air system using the hose with an inner diameter of 10 mm / 3/8 “. Make sure, that the strength of the hose is
at least 1.38 MPa. (III)
Start the tool for a few seconds, making sure that it does not issue any suspicious sounds or vibrations.
Preparation of the shear for work
Connect the gun to the grease gun using a fl exible hose. Screw one of the hose connectors to the gun (IV), and the other connec-
tor to the pump outlet (IV). Screw the connecting nuts fi rmly and tightly with a wrench. Connections will be operating under high
pressure and they have to provide suffi cient tightness for effi cient and safe operation.
Unscrew the butterfl y screws, which are supporting the grease tank cover (V), and then, holding the handle, lift the tank cover (VI).
Fill the tank with grease, do not overfl ow the capacity, which is specifi ed in the technical data table. The tank should be fi lled evenly
with grease, and its surface should be leveled. This will prevent interruptions in the fl ow of grease caused by the accumulation
of air bubbles.
Fasten the cover on the tank so the piston under the cover would rest on the surface of grease.
The density of the grease should be selected depending on the application and the ambient temperature. Grease can increase
the density along with a decrease of temperature. Too thick grease can degrade the performance of a grease gun or even prevent
it from working.
ATTENTION!
The grease gun is designed to work only with solid grease. It is forbidden to use liquid lubricants, oils, gasoline,
solvents and other liquids.
Connect the grease gun to the pneumatic system as it is described above. Using the built-in pressure gauge you should determine
the air pressure in the range specifi ed in the technical data table. In order to change the pressure you should pull the knob, and
then rotate it. Rotation in the direction of the arrow marked “+” increases the pressure, and rotation in the direction of the arrow
marked “-” reduces it. The pressure reading is displayed on the pressure gauge dial. Once you have set the correct operating
pressure, you should press the knob, this will prevent accidental change of its position during work.
Cover holder is equipped with a hanger, on which you can hang the hose and gun.
Unroll the hose gun, which is connecting with the grease gun for length necessary for work. It is not recommended to excessively
unwind the hose so it would lay on the ground. This will reduce risk of damage to the hose. Before you start the grease gun you
should check for the free movement of the gun, change the length of unwound hose as needed.
Working with the tool,
The gun nozzle should be directed to the container for used grease, Press and hold the gun trigger. Wait until grease would start
fl ow out from the gun nozzle. Release the pressure on the trigger, check whether the grease stopped its fl owing out. Apply the
gun nozzle to the place of grease application and start working. After you complete to apply grease, fi rst you should release the
pressure on the gun trigger, and then move the outlet nozzle away from the place of grease application. This will prevent losses
and will not cause the grease pollution. If necessary, clean the application area of grease excess.
In the course of the work, you should regularly check the grease level in the tank. The pump can be damaged if, in the course of
its work, it will be interrupted in its supply of grease.
ATTENTION!
During fi rst run, after cleaning or changing the grease, it is normal, that you have to wait a longer time from the
moment you press the trigger until the grease will show on the gun nozzle. The grease must travel all the way from the container,
through the grease gun pump, through hose to the outlet of the gun.
ATTENTION!
When changing the grease it is advisable to clean the inside of the tank from the residue of the previous grease.
Then refi ll the tank with a new grease, direct the outlet of gun nozzle to a separate container and start the grease gun. Hold the
trigger as long as at the gun outlet the new lubricant shows up. Diff erent types of greases can react and change their properties
when they are in contact with each other.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Never use gasoline, or any other fl ammable liquid to clean the tool. The vapors can be ignited, causing the tool explosion and
serious injury. Solvents, which are used to clean the tool holder and the body, can cause seals softening. Thoroughly clean the
tool before starting your work.
