PREPARING FOR OPERATION

Installing the additional handle (II)

Fix the handle to the housing so that the mounting holes of the handle and the housing are opposite each other. Then 

fi

 x the 

handle with bolts. 

The handle cannot be adjusted. 

Brush installation

Clean the spindle and the inside of the brush guard (III). Place the brush on the spindle and rotate it so that the grooves in the 

spindle are placed opposite to those around the brush mounting hole. Insert the locking pins (III) into the resulting slots. The pins 

should be inserted so that they are opposite one to another (III). This will allow you to better balance the tool during work. The pins 

should not protrude beyond the side surface of the brush. Secure the brush to the spindle with a bolt and washer (IV). 

Dust extraction

The tool is equipped with a dust extraction system. The use of a dust extraction system improves e

ffi

  ciency and safety at work. A 

fl

 exible hose connected to the dust extraction system, e.g. an industrial vacuum cleaner, must be 

fi

 xed to the dust extraction outlet. 

Do not use household vacuum cleaners as dust extraction systems. Household vacuum cleaners are not suitable for extracting 

dust generated during operation with a tool and such use can lead to damage to the vacuum cleaner. 

The adapter for connecting the hose to the dust extraction outlet must be purchased separately. The connection must be made in 

such a manner that the 

fl

 exible hose does not interfere with manoeuvring the tool during operation.  

Rotational speed control (VI)

The rotational speed can be smoothly adjusted within the range presented in the technical data table. The higher the number 

visible on the knob, the higher the speed.  

USING THE TOOL

Warning! Before starting work, make sure that the housing and the connecting cable with a plug are not damaged. Stop working 

in case of damage! The damaged cord or plug cannot be repaired and must be replaced with a new one by an authorised service 

centre. 

Starting and stopping the tool

Connect the tool to mains. Grasp the tool with both hands by the handle and the additional handle (VII). Make sure that the 

sanding brush does not come into contact with any object. The on/o

ff

  switch of the tool has a safety lock to prevent unintentional 

pressing. Press and hold the lock button towards the front of the tool in this position (VIII). Then press the power switch (VIII). 

The tool will start, the direction of rotation of the brush is indicated by an arrow on the tool housing. While working with the tool, 

it is not necessary to hold the lock button, but keep the switch pressed at all times. The switch does not have a lock to secure it 

in the ON position. 

The tool is stopped by releasing the power switch. The brush may still rotate for some time after releasing the pressure on the 

switch. Wait until the brush has stopped rotating before putting the tool down. It is forbidden to force stop the brush by pushing it 

against a workpiece or other object.  

After stopping the tool, unplug it from mains and proceed with maintenance.   

Tips for working with the brush sander

Select a brush with the appropriate bristle for the work. Use plastic brushes to age soft wood, metal, stone and marble. Metal 

brushes should be used for processing of hardwood, removal of varnish coatings and rust from metal surfaces. A metal brush can 

also be used to smooth metal surfaces.

The tool is only suitable for dry use. Always use dust extraction to reduce dust in the work area. Regardless of the dust extraction 

system, respiratory protection such as a mask or half-mask must also be worn. Always use eye protection as well.

The speed must be selected experimentally by working e.g. on a waste piece of the same material as the surface to be worked on. 

While working, move the brush sander evenly over the work piece so that its entire surface is evenly 

fi

 nished. Do not press the 

brush too hard against the work surface, and do not change the pressure during operation, as this may cause uneven surface 

fi

 nish. 

Always fasten the work pieces so that they do not move unexpectedly during operation. Use supports, vice, clamps, etc. to secure 

the workpiece. 

The brush sander wears in use. The brush bristle gets shorter, or can be thrown out or broken. Replace excessively worn brushes 

with new ones. Excessive wear of the brush can be seen in clearly visible spots where the bristles are missing and in di
