Adjustment of the cutting depth (XIV)
The cutter allows you to adjust cutting depth to a certain extent, for example, in order to compensate the wear of grinding wheel
or allow notch cutting. To do this, loosen the nut which is locking adjusting screw, turn the screw to desired height and secure it
against loosening by tightening lock nut.
Transport of the product
The machine must be transported in its original factory packaging. It is necessary to lower the cutter head to its lowest position and
secure it with the chain. Set the support plate in position of 0 degrees, and move the clamp in dicrection ot the support plate.
Cutting with the cutter
After setting up and securing the cut element on desired position, you may begin the cut.
Switch has a safety lock to prevent accidental pressing, first it should be pressed by thumb, and then press the on/off switch
(XV).
When the switch is pressed on, you should allow to reach by abrasive disc the rated rotational speed and only then start the cut.
It is forbidden to press the abrasive disc to material and only then run the tool. This may cause the lock of grinding wheel, its dam-
age, or damage of the material. This can lead to a serious injury.
In the event of restarting the cutting process, the grinding wheel should be allowed to resume the rated rotational speed and then
insert it into the cut slot.
When cutting, leave the grinding wheel by a smooth movement, avoiding excessive pressure. Pressure on the cutter head should
not to be greater than this, which is enough to cut material. Hitting with grinding wheel to the cut material should be avoided.
In the event of grinding wheel jamming in cut material you should immediately release the pressure on the tool, disconnect it from
the power source, and then remove the grinding wheel from jam.
Do a visual inspection for damage or deformation of grinding wheel which may occur at the jam time and, if you notice them
change the grinding wheel for a new one, free from defects. You should also check the cause of jam, for example, whether the
material was supported improperly. Before you begin the work, remove the cause of saw jam.
After a cut, rotating disc derived from cutting clearance, and only then release the pressure on the switch. When you finish your
work, you should start the maintenance.
MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
ATTENTION! Before any adjustment, technical service or maintenance operations unplug the tool. Once the operations have been
finished, the technical conditions of the tool must be assessed by means of external evaluation and inspection of the following
elements: body and handle, conductor with a plug and deflection, functioning of the electric switch, patency of ventilation slots,
sparking of brushes, noise level of functioning of bearings and gears, start-up and smoothness of operation. During the guarantee
period, the user cannot dismantle the electric tools or change any sub-assemblies or elements, since it will cancel any guarantee
rights. All irregularities detected at overhaul or during functioning of the tools are a signal to have the tool repaired at a service
shop. Once the functioning has been concluded, the casing, ventilation slots, switches, additional handle and protections must be
cleansed with a stream of air (at a pressure not exceeding 0.3 MPa), with a brush or a cloth without any chemical substances or
cleaning liquids. Tools and handles must be cleansed with a clean cloth.
