to immediately stop the engine of the generator and add oil in accordance with the indications presented in Point „
Checking the oil
level
”. Attention! If operation of the device is continued in spite of the signalled low level of oil, the generator will stop automatically,
before the level of oil drops too low. However, it is recommended to add oil immediately after a low level is signalled. Operation
without a sufficient quantity of oil in the engine gear will damage the generator.
Operation of the direct current socket
The generator is equipped with a direct current socket, which may be also used simultaneously with the alternating current socket.
Other devices may be connected to the direct current socket only with an appropriate plug complying with the plug provided with
the generator (XIV). Attention! Before the plug within the set is connected, make sure the crocodile clips do not touch each other,
so as to avoid short circuit of the direct current socket, which might lead to electric shock, fire and serious injuries.
Attention! While connecting the plug to the direct current socket pay attention to the correct polarity of the clips.
The direct current socket is equipped with a separate protection device indicated as „ZABEZPIECZ. DC / DC PROTECTOR”. The
protector is activated in case of overload (e.g. due to short circuit) of the socket. In such cases the button will be automatically
released („WY
Ł
. / OFF”). In such cases it is required to disconnect the load from the socket, wait a couple of minutes so that the
system cools down and then press the protection button to the „W
Ł
. / ON” position and connect the load again.
Automatic throttle (XV)
The generator is equipped with an automatic throttle control system, which may adjust the efficiency to the changing load con-
nected to the generator. For example once the load is disconnected, the rotation of the motor will be automatically reduced. Con-
nection and start of a load will automatically increase the rotation, and thus the efficiency of the generator.
In order to activate the automatic throttle, set the „AUTO. PRZEPUSTNICA / SMART THROTTLE” switch to the „W
Ł
. / ON” posi-
tion. In order to deactivate the automatic throttle, set the same switch to the „WY
Ł
. / OFF” position.
ATTENTION!
In the following cases, it is required to avoid activation of the automatic throttle system:
- in case a load is connected which requires power only instantaneously, for example during fast activation and deactivation of
a load,
- if several loads are connected to the socket simultaneously,
- if a load is connected to the direct current socket.
Stopping the engine
Deactivate the electrical device connected to the generator.
Disconnect the electrical device from the generator.
Set the engine switch to OFF.
Set the fuel inlet deaeration valve to OFF.
NOTE!
In case it is necessary to immediately stop the engine due to emergency, the engine switch must be set to OFF.
Refuelling
NOTE! Do not ever refuel the generator during its operation.
Stop the engine in accordance with the procedure indicated in „
Stopping the engine
”.
Wait at least two minutes until the engine has cooled down.
Fill fuel in accordance with the indications in „PREPARATIONS FOR OPERATION”.
Close the fuel inlet tightly.
Start the generator again in accordance with the procedure indicated in „
Start-up of the internal combustion engine
”.
If the fuel level is too low, the engine will stop automatically.
MAINTENANCEA AND INSPECTIONS
During the warranty validity period the user must not dismantle the device or replace any subassemblies and elements of the
device, since this would make the warranty void. Any irregularities observed during inspections or operation of the machine con-
stitute an indication the device must be repaired at a service shop.
Once operation has concluded, the housing, the ventilation openings, the switches, the additional handle and the protections
must be cleaned, for example with air jet (whose pressure must not exceed 0.3 MPa), a brush or a dry cloth, without any chemical
substances or cleaning agents. The tools and handles must be cleaned with a dry, clean cloth.
