6. On the Main Screen, click on the
IP Host
button.
The
IP
Setup screen appears (see Figure 6). Enter
the IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Router
IP Address. Click
OK
.

7. On the Main Screen, click on the
Interface Setup
button. The corresponding screen appears (see
Figure 7).

8. If the WLAN card was inserted in PCMCIA A then
line 3 will display
802.11b
. Click
Setup 3
. If the
WLAN card was inserted into PCMCIA B then line 4
will display
802.11b
. Click on
Setup 4
.
9. The
802.11b Setup
screen appears (see Figure 8).
Enter the name of the wireless network in the
Network Name
text box. Click the
Frequency
button.

10. The
802.11b Frequency Setup
screen appears (see
Figure 9). Select a frequency from the pull down
menu box. Click
OK
. Click
OK
again.

11. Go to
File
and click
Save Config
: this will save the
new settings.
12. After the AP-Plus is finished saving its
configuration, exit the YDI AP Manager program.
The AP-Plus is ready to use. Refer to the online
help for complete instructions on setting up other
features in the unit.
