Game 3
A two-player strategy game.
At the start, each player receives 12 pieces of one colour.
These are placed on the board at the side closest to the
player. Pieces can only be placed on the dark circles. One
player begins, after that players alternate their moves.
Moves are allowed only on the dark spots, so all move-
ments are made diagonally.
The only direction players can move in is toward the
opponent.
Pieces can be moved one spot at a time, unless you can
capture a piece of the opponent.
One can capture a piece by jumping over one of the op-
ponent’s pieces, landing in a straight diagonal line on the
other side. A player can jump over one piece at a time.
One turn is not limited to one jump, if a subsequent jump
is possible to capture other pieces
A captured piece is removed from the board. If a capture
is possible it is mandatory. If multiple captures are
possible, a player is free to choose one.
When a piece reaches the far end of the board (oppo-
nents’ side), the piece is crowned king. To make the dif-
ference clear, place one piece on top of the other
The king pieces still need to move diagonally but can
move in either direction and may jump over multiple
spots at once.
The game is ended when one player has lost all his
pawns or cannot make a move.
