VEGETARIAN BEAN CHILI

1 can (798 mL) whole tomatoes
•
1 can (540 mL) beans
•
1 chopped onion
•
3 cloves garlic, minced
•
1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
•
1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
•
1 tbsp (15 mL) chili powder
•
2 tsp (10 mL) ground cumin
•
¼ tsp (1 mL) pepper
•
Hot Sauce to taste

In slow cooker add tomatoes, beans (drained and rinsed) , onion,
garlic, green pepper and jalapeno, chili powder, cumin and pepper.

Press button on slow cooker to LOW setting, cover and cook for 8
hours.

Season to taste with hot sauce.
Tip: Top your chili with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream and sliced
green onions.
