15.2 Error Code Descriptions and Corrective
Actions
This section explains error codes that may appear on the front panel.
Error Codes
If any of the following error codes appears, the instrument will beep intermittently. Immediately turn off
the power. Servicing is required.

Description
E.901
The cooling fan error has detected.
E.902, E.903 Internal temperature error has been detected.
E.904
Internal circuit error has been detected.
Error Codes That Appear at Power-on or during the Self-test
If any of the following error codes appears, servicing is required. If the error appears at power-on, the
instrument beeps.

The cooling fan error has detected.
E.921 to E.934 Internal circuit error has been detected.

The 100 mV range error has detected.
E.942
The 1 V range error has detected.
E.943
The 10 V range error has detected.

The 100 V range error has detected.
E.945
The 300 V range error has detected.
E.946
The 1000 V range error has detected.
E.947
The 100 mA range error has detected.
E 948
The 1 A range error has detected.
