g. Menus in which a value within the menu frame is entered (menus with marks
at the lower right corner within the menu frame)
There are two methods for entering a value.
Using the Numeric Keys and ENTER Key
For details, see section 3.8. This method is used in the procedural explanations for
entering values in this manual.
Using the Rotary Knob and < and > Keys
1.
Press the soft key for the menu to select it.

Press the < or > key to select the desired digit.The digit shown in yellow is
selected.

Turn the rotary knob to set the value.

As the value of the selected digit is increased, a carry over occurs. As the value is
decreased, a value is borrowed from the next higher digit (the next higher digit is
decreased).
4.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to enter the value.
You cannot set the unit or the decimal point position using this method.
The digit shown in yellow
is selected.
Note
For setup menus in which an item is selected from a list or setup menus in which a value is
entered, pressing the RESET key resets the setting to the initial value.
