Loading Waveform Data Using the Network
Procedure
Before carrying out the procedures in this section, you must configure the
network parameters of the VB8300 so that the VB8300 internal hard disk can be
accessed from the PC. For details on the network configuration, see sections
11.1, 11.2, and 11.4.
Uploading Waveform Data
To load waveform data to the waveform memory on the VB8300, the waveform data
must be uploaded from the PC to the VB8300 internal hard disk. The procedure given
below assumes that the VB8300 internal hard disk can be accessed from the PC.

Upload the waveform data files to the VB8300 hard disk.
The figure below is an example in which files are uploaded from the PC to the VB8300
whose Samba settings are as follows: Netbios Name: vb8300aa, Group Name: AAA.

1-2. Double-click vb8300aa. A dialog box for entering the network password opens.
Enter the user name (anonymous) and password (password) and click OK. The
public folder on the VB8300 internal hard disk is shown.
1-3. Double-click public. The public folder opens.
Note
The public folder and printer folder are shown as folders on the VB8300 internal hard disk.
The printer folder is a folder that is displayed by default on a Windows system. It does not
actually exist on the VB8300 internal hard disk.
