Section 3 - Installation
• MVVSD not used as service equipment or as a
main section for a separately derived system, and
used on either a grounded or ungrounded system.
1. The MVVSD frame and any ground bus
must be grounded by means or equipment
grounding conductors having size in accor-
dance with NEC
Article 250
and run with the
main supply conductors or by bonding to the
raceway enclosing the main supply conduc-
tors in accordance with NEC.
2. Ground leads must be connected to cable
potheads or shields as specified by the cable
manufacturer.
Oil pump wiring
Oil pump field wiring terminals are designated 67, 68,
69, and GND. Standard 14 gauge wire may be used.
The following figure shows the connections for the oil
pump. The 1TB terminals can be found located within
the low voltage compartment at the bottom facing up-
wards.

Note:
For a YD product, there are two MVVSDs for each YD chiller. The YD has one OptiView panel, which contains two terminal strips. One
strip references the 100 series lines, and the second references the 200 series lines. The 100 series lines connects to one of the MV-
VSDs and the 200 series lines connects to the second MVVSD.
