Message Distribution
A mailbox owner can record a message and send it to all of the mailboxes on a Mailbox Group list
at the same time simply by using the list number (1~8). The time of Message Distribution is
specified in the VM_7_3.

Message Notification
When a new message arrives in a mailbox, the EVM re-sets the count value of attempts of each
notification type of the mailbox, according to the notification types specified for the class of this
message.
The EVM will notify the mailbox owner within the time period that the mailbox owner specifies
unless all the counts are zero. Every time a type of notification is attempted, the related count value
will be decreased. All the count values are deleted when the mailbox owner logs in to the Mailbox
Program. After the mailbox owner selects “To listen to message”, the EVM will send out the
MLOFF Control Command to turn off the message lamp in minutes.

Message Lamp Notification – sends the MLON Control Command to the PBX.

Phone Recording
EVM can support the PBX Phone-recording feature by receiving the character strings or DTMF
Digit strings of the Phone-recording information.
Upon answering a call and receiving the Recording-request code and an extension number, the
EVM starts to record the conversation on the call as a message. The message may be deposited into
the mailbox associated with the extension number, or may be deposited into the Recording
Collection mailbox, depending on whether a mailbox number is already specified in
