General EXTN Groups
A group of consecutive extension numbers can be defined by specifying the Beginning number and
the Ending number. An extension number included in a General EXTN Group is an actual phone
number except the extension numbers specified in the Call-Forwarding List.
SYS_1_[YY]_1_[N~]
YY: the group number (01~32)
N~: the Beginning number (1~9999)
SYS_1_[YY]_2_[N~]
YY: the group number (01~32)
N~: the Ending number (1~9999)
The Ending number should be the same digit length as the Beginning number and its value
should be not less than the Beginning number.
Internal Tone Detection feature is the default to General EXTN Groups.

Special EXTN Groups
A group of extension numbers can be defined by specifying the Prefix and the Digit Length: the
Prefix defines the first part of each of the extension numbers; the Digit Length defines how many
digits that each of the extension numbers has. Moreover, you can specify two of the following
features for a special EXTN Group.

2-sec Pause Point –enables the EVM to insert a 2-sec pause to each of the extension numbers,
according to the specified digit length. Usually, a pause point is for waiting the dial tone or a
service tone.

XX-sec Pause Point –the usage is the same as a 2-sec pause point but the time length is
specified in

Blind Transfer or Un-supervised Transfer –Supervised Transfer feature is the default to a
special EXTN Group that contains external phone numbers.

b: 1~9= number of digits of an extension number that begins with the specified Prefix
0= variable digit length – all the numbers that begin with the specified Prefix from 1 digit
to 9 digits all are included. Callers dialing the numbers beginning with the specified
Prefix must wait two seconds to indicate end of dialing.
c: 1~9= number of digits before the 2-sec pause to insert
