Personal External Telephone Numbers
A mailbox owner administers his/her personal external phone number by setting the VM_6 of the
mailbox program.
In addition to using the personal external phone to answer the calls of External Phone Notification,
the mailbox owner can have the EVM transfer his/her calls to the personal external phone, by
setting the function code *6 to the VM_8 and/or VM_9.
The system administrator can also have the EVM transfer the incoming calls directly to mailbox
owners’ personal external phones during the non-working hours. For more information, see the

Wakeup and Personal Message Notification Schedules
A mailbox owner administers his/her Wakeup Schedule by setting the VM_7_1 and VM_7_2;
administers his/her Personal Message Notification Schedule by setting the VM_7_4 and VM_7_5.
If the Notification Schedule is empty, the Notification Schedule stored in the Mutual Mailbox will
be in place of it. If both schedules are empty, the notification is immediately initiated whenever a
new message arrives in the mailbox.
A Wakeup call may also deliver the Notification greeting (
) so long as the mailbox has
a new message.

Personal Backup Extensions
When a caller does not respond to a mailbox owner's Busy or No-answer Prompt first time, the call
will be transferred to the Personal Backup Extension. The second time will depend on the
No-answer/Busy Prompt Time-out Action Option specified in

the VM_8:
0~9899= internal phone numbers
9900~9989= special mailboxes 9900~9989. The phone number is the Special External Phone
number that is stored in the VM_6 of the specified mailbox.

Empty= not using this feature
Follow Me
When a caller dials a mailbox owner, the EVM immediately transfers the call to the Follow-me
