11. Allow the ACC to adjust to position and press the Right Arrow Key to start the system.
12. Allow the system to run for 10 seconds and press the Right Arrow Key to stop the
system. Check oil level in the sight glass and add oil if the oil level drops.
13. At the home screen, adjust target injection rate to 30-40% using the Up Arrow Key.
Allow the ACC to adjust to position and then start the system. Allow the system to
operate for 5 minutes while monitoring the oil level and add oil as needed.
14. Stop the system and adjust the target injection rate to approximately 90-100% and
allow the ACC to adjust to position and restart. Allow to operate for 10 minutes while
monitoring the oil level.
As the pump runs, the oil will heat and expand slightly. Check the sight glass on the back of the
pump and ensure it is approximately 1/2 full. Add oil if required. Replace the oil reservoir cap
and tighten hand tight. Adjust the valves for normal operation. Adjust the parameters as
applicable to the application and continue starting up the system.
If the oil reservoir has been overfilled and the oil expands after warming, the sight glass will be
full, and oil may overflow from the oil reservoir cap. In this case, oil should be drained from the
oil drain valve and collected in a suitable container. Drain as needed until the sight glass is half
full or slightly above. Collected oil must be disposed of according to local laws and regulations.
Continue to monitor the oil level for at least an hour after starting the system. If the oil level is
low, the injection pump will stop injecting odorant to the discharge and the injection rate will fall.
Stop the system and add additional oil if required.
