Forward RailCom channel 2 to central unit
(activated by default)
This option activates the forwarding of RailCom data received from the booster (RailCom channel 2, i.e.,
speed, POM read result, QoS, etc.) to the Z21. The
Z21 XL BOOSTER
has a RailCom receiver and can
forward the received data via the CAN bus to the Z21. This makes it possible, for example, to read a
vehicle decoder by means of POM read commands not only on the main track of the central unit, but also
in the booster section (Z21 FW V1.30 and higher recommended).
Report short circuit to the central unit
(activated by default)
If this option is deactivated, short-circuit messages are not forwarded to the control panel. Operation can
continue in the unaffected booster sections or on the main track of the central unit.
The affected
Z21 XL BOOSTER
nevertheless switches off in the event of short circuits and automatically
tries to reactivate the track output every 3 seconds.
Short circuit detection
(normal by default)
With this option you can increase the response speed of the short-circuit detection at the booster track
output.
PowerOn Retries
(disabled by default with 0 repetitions)
With this option you can activate the repetitions for switching on the booster track output.
For a description, see below in chapter "PowerOn Retries”.
With the

button, you can restore the factory settings of the
Z21 XL BOOSTER
in the
input fields of the dialog window.
With
Read
the settings of the Z21
XL BOOSTER
are read and displayed.
With
Write
the values of the input fields are transferred to the
Z21 XL BOOSTER
.
With
FW Update
you can update the firmware in the
Z21 XL BOOSTER
. The
Update Info
field displays
the target version or information about the update history, respectively.
