Setting a Password

The DME-10J supports the assignment of a password to restrict access to the user interface.
Note:
Once a password has been set, it can be changed, but the requirement of a password cannot be undone.
In the System Setup tab, click on the “go” button next to “Set Password”.

The change password options appear. Enter the new password twice and click “change.”
(2)
Wait for the password options to disappear. This indicates that the password has changed.
(3)
Refresh the web browser. A log in screen will appear prompting for a user name and password.
(4)
Enter “admin” for the user name. This is not editable.
Enter your selected password and click “login” to access the user interface.

To preserve the password, you should save this password configuration in either “serial_menu” or a

user-defined preset.
