Video Burst Size
150 – 2000ms (
300
)
# of ms to buffer. The higher the value,
the smoother the encode, but also the
higher the latency.
Video Codec
H.264
, MPEG-2
The codec to use for video encoding.
Available options depend on what is
licensed.
Frame Decimation
None
, 1/2, 1/3, 1/4
Used to reduce the frame rate. For
example, selecting “1/2” frame decimation
for 30fps input would cause a bitstream to
be encoded at 15fps.
D1 Sharpness
0
- 2
Controls the peak and coring filters of the
analog front end for D1. 0 is a normal (flat)
setting. 2 causes the highest sharpness
gain. The encoder will encode more
efficiently with less sharp pictures. If the
bitrate is pretty high, this can be used to
enhance the picture quality. The general
recommendation is to leave this at 0. Only
enabled for composite input.
Output Interface
Ethernet (VBR)
Ethernet (CBR)
Selects between VBR and CBR Ethernet.
RTP requires VBR. For UDP, specifying
“CBR” will cause insertion of null packets
where necessary.
Output Format
RTP
MPEG-2 TS
MPEG-2 TS RTP
RTMP
Output format of encoded stream. Note:
RTP requires an SDP file for the receiver.
“MPEG-2 TS RTP” sends a stream
encapsulated with MPEG-2 TS within an RTP
transport stream.
Dest Address
x.y.z.w
(225.1.2.3)
The IP address that the encoder is
streaming to.
Dest Port
0 – 9999 (
8888
)
The port that the encoder is streaming to.
TS Bitrate
0 – 20Mbps (
8Mbps
)
Only appears for “MPEG-2 TS” and “MPEG-2
TS RTP” Output Formats. The overall
bitrate for the generated transport stream.
A margin of 30-50% over the video bitrate
for high bitrates is recommended.
PID Audio, Video,
PCR
0 – 999 (
120, 220, 520
)
The PIDs assigned to audio, video, and the
PCR in the TS stream. Values are separated
by a space.
Local IP Address
192.168.X.XX (
192.168.0.65
) Sets the IP address of the Z3-MVPR-01.
Disregarded if “Use DHCP” is checked.
Local Netmask
255.255.X.X (
255.255.0.0
)
Sets the netmask of the Z3-MVPR-01.
Disregarded if “Use DHCP” is checked.
