OPERATION
● Only the and buttons are used for basic control. Pressing these but-
tons when the ‘ ‘ button is pressed and held performs additional func-
tions. For the EXTA LIFE system, this means sending an additional
pair of buttons (one additional channel). For the EXTA FREE system,
however, individual pairs of buttons are sent with a new (second) se-
rial number. When controlling shutters, this allows you, for example,
to control them as a group (group control).
● Buttons , are used to select the channel. The currently selected
channel number is signalled by LEDs. First select the channel and
then control it.
● After pressing the , button or a combination of the + , + but-
tons, the remote control sends a radio signal to the components of
the selected system. The remote control LEDs will blink depending on
the currently selected channel number (see Table). To ensure correct
interpretation of the signal from the remote control, the receiver must
be paired with the remote control first. The pairing method (entering
individual buttons into the receiver’s memory) is described in user’s
manuals for individual EXTA LIFE / EXTA FREE receivers. The re-
mote control sends a radio signal only when the button is pressed/re-
leased. If the button is held, the radio signal is not sent. This prevents
the battery from being discharged too quickly.
