Hints on the glass ceramic hob
Your glass ceramic hob is durable both
hot and cold and can take heavy loads.
However, as is the case with other
hardened glass materials, spot loads
may damage the hob, for instance if
the salt mill falls down from the herb
shelf and hits it in an unfortunate way.
Warning
If visible cracks appear in the surface,
the apparatus must be disconnected
from the mains immediately.
Spillages of plastics and other meltable
materials such as sugar and food
containing sugar (also applies to food
with a natural sugar content to which
no extra sugar has been added), such
as marmelade, jam, fruit juice, etc.
must be wiped off the ceramic hob
while still hot.
Failure to do this will cause the hob to
peel and crack.
Use the enclosed scraper and polish
with cream cleaner afterwards.
Any cooking utensils which have been
into contact with the above mentioned
materials must be cleaned thoroughly
before being placed on the ceramic
plate.
The warranty does not cover
damage to the glass ceramic hob
which can be attributed to any of the
above events.
