Door reversal directions

Before starting work, unplug the appliance. To
reverse the opening direction of the door proceed as
follows:

Remove the plastic cover (A) (which has a clip-in
fitting) masking the bottom hinge;

Remove bottom hinge (C);

Slide out the lower door from middle hinge (H) and
remove the latter;

Slide out the upper door from pin (D), unscrew the
latter and then screw it down into the hinge
provided on the opposite side;

Refit the upper door and the middle hinge on the
opposite side;

Refit the lower door and bottom hinge (C) on the
opposite side, after having removed the plugs (B)
and screws; these must then be refitted in the holes
on the opposite side;

Refit the plastic cover (A) on the bottom hinge.

Remove the handles, after having removed the
screw cover and refit it on the opposite side.

The holes that are not used must be masked with
the plastic plugs removed.

The doors can be aligned by adjusting the middle
hinge (H) horizontally, with the help of a tool, after
having slackened two screws, as shown in Fig.

Attention

After completion of the door reversibility operation,
check that the door gasket adheres to the cabinet. If
the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the
gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In that
case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket or
accelerate this process by heating up the part
involved with a normal hairdrier.

Fitting the door panels

(for models equipped with door frame)

To fit the door panel, proceed as follows:

– remove the fixing screws and remove the frame

side opposite the handle;

– loosen, without removing them, all remaining

screws fixing the door frame;

– insert the panel from the side on which the frame

has been removed and push it fully in;

– refit the frame side and tighten all the screws.

Note

The panel size should be 1-2 mm smaller than the
door; the maximum permissible panel thickness is
4 mm.
