Restore sequence as described in the 10.1 and 10.2 paragraphs. Remember to
re-cycle the Key Switch if you make any changes to the chopper’s configuration.
Step1
Fill your setting with the Options you need (see “Set options”
submenu in paragraph 9.4.2).
Step2
Select the Battery Voltage. See SET BATTERY TYPE in
“Adjustments” submenu.
Step3
Check the correct installation of all wires. Use the Console’s
TESTER function to assist.
Step4
Perform the pump potentiometer signal acquisition procedure using
the Console “PROGRAM VACC”. Procedure is detailed on
paragraph 10.3.
Step5
Set the “MAXIMUM CURRENT” Current, using the table on Chapter
9.5.2 (setting table of the “PARAMETER CHANGE” functions).
Step6
Set the ACCELERATION DELAY requirements for the machine.
Test the parameters in both directions.
Step7
Set the FREQUENCY CREEP level starting from 0.6 Hz. The pump
should just move when the accelerator microswitch is closed.
Increase the Level accordingly.
Step8
Set the Speed Reductions as required. Use the parameters of the
“cutback speed” family in the PARAMETER CHANGE menu to
specify the reduced maximum pump speed as a percentage of the
1ST, 2ND, 3RD and 4TH SPEED FINE (see 9.5.2).
Step9
Set the parameter MAX SPEED LIFT (max speed of pump motor).
Step10
Set the parameter HYD SPEED FINE to adjust the hydraulic
steering speed (pump motor speed when HYDRO function is
requested).
Step11
Set AUXILIARY TIME (time delay before pump stops when an
hydraulic steering function request is switched off).
Step12
Set SET TEMPERATURE, setting the motor thermal sensor type
used.
Can see also the Figure 9–7 for details on the settings.

Depending on the motor used it is necessary to set some parameters:
giving Zapi the motor curves it is possible to know the optimal setting in
order to the motor runs efficiently.
