6 Operation
For ergonomic reasons, the knee rail can be used as a handrail at a climbing angle in the
range of 45°-60°.

The two lower handrails are not continuous, but interrupted by posts.

• The step size of the steps depends on the design and height adjustment of the plat-
form (incline).
• The entry dimension of the lowest step also deviates from the other, equally sized
steps.
• Pay attention to the product’s overall width when using it.

There is a risk of crushing hands/fingers between fixed and moving parts, in particular
on the components of the height adjustment, on the plug-in railings, on the quadru-
ple-beam staircase, on the crank of the manual rack and pinion winch.
• Keep hands and feet away from potential hazardous areas and moving parts.
